Fashion is such a big part of my life, and living in Canada where you really feel four different seasons, allows me to express myself through fashion in all different kinds of weather. I love being a blogger; being able to find inspiration in fellow bloggers and throughout all facets of my life and the fashion industry, and being able to share my own personal style and thoughts through this platform. This year has been so different from past ones for me. I went through some changes and discoveries of myself and what I want to do in life and for a career; I started dating the most amazing boy; I really got a sense of who I was as a person, and my personal style definitely changed over these last 12 months. That's not to say that I have everything figured out 100% yet, but I am definitely many steps closer and I can't wait to keep discovering new things along the way. I thought since we are entering a new year, it would be fun to go back through some of my favourite outfits and shoots of 2015 and share them with you. Enjoy!

Sequin Minis
Though I'd obviously seen them around before, as it is a popular trend, when I was on my cruise a few weeks back, I really started noticing a lot of people wearing sequin mini skirts at night (for dinners and shows and such), particularly in an aztec patterns. It's such a simple concept (a skirt), but when you add a little more aesthetic (sequins and pattern), you can take your look that much further.

Post-Holiday Outfit Rut
Before I get into this topic, let me first define what I mean by "outfit rut": Getting stuck in a cycle of wearing the same basic thing over and over (for example, jeans and a t-shirt), with no drive to get creative and put together fun and/or interesting outfits. Now, you may be into the minimalist and normcore style, and that's totally fine (I am too), but I'm talking about getting to the point where you're actually unhappy with the clothes you're wearing, but still cannot seem to put together anything "better". While in this rut, you may also feel that you have no "interesting" pieces, and you've been looking at the same clothes in your closet for months now.
